Alder Compliance Pte. Ltd. | Last updated: 18 August 2026
1. About these Terms
Alder Compliance Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202038058E), formerly known as Alder Corporate Services Pte. Ltd. (“Alder”, “we”, “us” or “our”), owns and operates the website at https://alder.com.sg/ (the “Website”). The change from our former name was a change of name of the same legal entity.
These Website Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, you should not use the Website.
2. Purpose of the Website
The Website provides general information about Alder, our professional services and matters that may be relevant to businesses operating in Singapore. Its content is informational only and does not constitute a binding offer, proposal or quotation to provide any service.
Any services provided by Alder are subject to a separate written engagement letter or service agreement setting out the agreed scope, fees and applicable terms. Nothing on the Website varies or replaces any such agreement.
3. No Professional Advice or Client Relationship
The Website and its content do not constitute legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, tax, investment or other professional advice tailored to your circumstances. Regulatory requirements and their application may change and may depend on facts not addressed on the Website. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before acting, refraining from acting or making decisions based on Website content. No statement on the Website is a representation or guarantee that any application, approval, certification, registration or other outcome will be achieved.
Accessing or using the Website, submitting an enquiry, or communicating with Alder by contact form, email, telephone, WhatsApp or otherwise does not by itself create an adviser-client or other professional relationship. Such a relationship arises only when a written engagement has been accepted by Alder and the client.
Do not treat a website enquiry as an instruction for Alder to act or as notice of a time-sensitive matter. Unless Alder has requested it and an appropriate communication method has been agreed, you should not send confidential, sensitive or legally privileged information through the Website.
4. Accuracy and Availability
We take reasonable care in preparing Website content, but do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current, suitable for a particular purpose or free from error. Information may become outdated, including because of changes in laws, regulations, regulatory expectations or market practice.
We may amend, remove, suspend or withdraw any Website content or functionality without prior notice. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from technical issues or harmful components.
5. Permitted and Prohibited Use
You may access and view the Website for lawful informational purposes. You must not:
- use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, systems or data;
- interfere with the security, integrity, operation or availability of the Website;
- introduce malicious code, viruses or other harmful material;
- use automated tools to scrape, crawl, data-mine or systematically extract Website content, except for bona fide search-engine indexing or with our prior written consent;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or relationship with Alder; or
- use the Website in a manner that infringes Alder’s or any third party’s rights.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its content, including its text, graphics, layout, branding, logos and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Alder and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names, marks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view the Website for your own legitimate informational purposes. Except as permitted by law, you must not reproduce, modify, adapt, republish, distribute, transmit, display, sell, license or commercially exploit any Website content without Alder’s prior written consent. No right or licence is granted except the limited right to access and view the Website in accordance with these Terms.
7. Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to websites or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience and information only and do not necessarily indicate endorsement, approval or responsibility by Alder.
Alder does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, security, terms or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party website is subject to the terms and policies of its operator.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Website information and security
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided for general information without representations, warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, concerning their accuracy, completeness, currency, suitability, availability, security or freedom from harmful components. You are responsible for independently evaluating information before relying on it and for taking appropriate precautions to protect your systems and data.
Limits on liability
Subject to the paragraph below, Alder will not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for loss or damage arising from or connected with:
- your access to, use of or inability to use the Website;
- your reliance on Website content without obtaining advice appropriate to your circumstances;
- any third-party website, content, service or resource;
- any unauthorised access, malicious code, technical issue or interruption affecting the Website;
- any event beyond Alder’s reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation or data arising from or connected with the Website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law restricts an exclusion or limitation in these Terms, it will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
This section concerns use of the Website only. It does not determine or limit liability arising from professional services provided under a separate engagement letter or service agreement.
9. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal data in connection with the Website are addressed in our separate Privacy Policy, available on the Website.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on the Website. The date at the bottom of this page indicates when the Terms were last updated. Your use of the Website will be subject to the version in effect at the time of that use.
11. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if that is not possible, treated as severed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A failure or delay by Alder to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms does not waive that right or remedy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from or connected with them or the Website are governed by Singapore law. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes and claims.
